*best w/ earphones* So I made another song cover! I just finished rewatching Bad Buddy and thought it would be fun to make a cover of "Our Song." I recorded it right away, despite being absolutely sick at the time?? (I'm still sick but it's not as bad now.) Ah, when inspiration strikes lol. I haven't yet decided how much I love the result and the fact that my voice was shot during recording probably doesn't help lol (after a few takes my voice was DONE and I had a massive headache for the rest of the night lol, but I had a fun time working on this anyways.) Anyhow,,,, consider listening until the harmonies kick in during the second/third choruses because I'm proud of those as well as the general arrangement! :D

The whole editing process on this song was a very fun time. SO many layers you don't even know 😂 But I think the part of this project that I'm proudest of is actually the lyrics? I don't speak Thai so obviously my first step here was making a version of Our Song that I could actually sing. I decided not to use the direct English translation because, to be honest, that just doesn't read like lyrics. Or at least, not good lyrics xD Nor did it fill all the musical beats/mirror the sounds in the original version. So (with the help of my lovely sister) I reworked the lyrics into something more song-like. My challenge was keeping the overall meanings the same while making the lines flow more musically. In some cases shifting words to maintain rhyming, etc. I'm quite happy with the result of that! :) Anyway I hope you guys enjoy this, let me know what you think! 💛
