This was edited with the background music so some of it doesn't flow quite as designed standing solo (would have arranged it a tad different with this in mind) but here's an acapella version—because some of it sounds really nice that way? I'm in love with the harmonies so it's fun to have a version that highlights just the vocals! (Even if the weak parts stand out more this way too, lol.) Tbh I was unsure about posting an acapella version of anything but my sister convinced me to share it 💕

Pretend I didnt forget that I had a whole editing/text style established for my tutorials because this one doesnt match lol. Its not as pretty but made it quickly okay. Anyway. Its been YEARS since Ive made one of these. I was working on my current WIP which involves some really fancy stuff (seriously, Im so proud of it and cant wait to share) and when I got to these clips, I thought... this is cool, I should make a little tutorial. So I did. :) Heres how I made a masked flash effect (flash that effects background and not selected foreground) as well as a halo-y echo burst effect. Hope this is helpful for you!! Now Im back off to Premiere to keep working on my actual edit haha.
