It’s been an age since I’ve even thought about Merlin, but here we are with some nice Morgana/Merlin/Arthur dramaaaa and I love how it turned out—especially the aesthetic feel. Pretend I didnt forget that I had a whole editing/text style established for my tutorials because this one doesnt match lol. Its not as pretty but made it quickly okay. Anyway. Its been YEARS since Ive made one of these. I was working on my current WIP which involves some really fancy stuff (seriously, Im so proud of it and cant wait to share) and when I got to these clips, I thought... this is cool, I should make a little tutorial. So I did. :) Heres how I made a masked flash effect (flash that effects background and not selected foreground) as well as a halo-y echo burst effect. Hope this is helpful for you!! Now Im back off to Premiere to keep working on my actual edit haha.
