Our Fun & Funny Mackinac Island Carriage Tour - A Great Way To See The Sights!
We took our very first trip to Mackinac Island in early June of 2024, and had an amazing time. The Island is beautiful and unique, and there's much to see and do. But the very first thing we did when we got off the Ferry, was to walk a little ways down Main Street and buy tickets from the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours company to see some of the highlights of the Island! We're very glad we did that, as we got to see a lot of the Island right away while riding on a horse-drawn carriage. We also enjoyed both of our drivers (they switch drivers and carriage types part way through the tour), as they made it fun and funny, as well as informative. We were on the last tour of the day, so we made it just in time, and that's a word of advice...buy your carriage tour tickets as early in the day as possible on the day you know you want to do it, as tickets and time slots can run out on some days. You can't buy the regular public tour tickets ahead of time, so it has to be done in person. Anyway, we had a great time on the tour, and we'd highly recommend it to you when visiting Mackinac Island, especially if it's your first time there like it was for us. Thanks for watching!
