Universal Studios Beijing is by far the best standalone Universal Studios park in the world. It is a perfect collection of Universal's best rides and shows in one location in addition to some unique attractions you can't find in any other theme park including the larger properties like Universal Studios Orlando, Hollywood and Japan.

After walking through CityWalk which was surprisingly empty the day we visited, you wall arrive at the Universal Studios Beijing main gate just under the Universal Studios Grand Hotel. Upon entering the park, the site felt familiar and look similar to most other Universal Studios theme park around the world before coming face to face with this massive and beautiful lagoon which acts as the centre piece for the park.
From the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Minion Land, WaterWorld and the Transformers' Metrobase, this park has all the classics you want to see and experience but it also has some incredible standalone rides and show that will blow your mind.
Our highlights after spending a full day at Universal Studios China, were of course Jurassic World Adventure, arguably the best dark ride in the whole world and Untrainable an impressive show with all your favorite characters from How to Train Your Dragon from the Isle of Berk.
