For the adventure side of the Namibian coast, Walvis Bay is the place to visit. Located about 30 minutes away, this place offers all kinds of activities from ocean safari where you can see the seal colony, pelicans, whales and more to the world famous Sandwich Harbour in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. This is the place where the sand dunes meet the ocean.
We spent our day in Walvis Bay with Mola Mola Safaris who took us for kayaking with the seal colony, prepared a lunch on the beach with fantastic food, surf and turf style before driving us along the ocean and over the sand dunes of Sandwich Harbour with their 4X4.
