Scrappy Kathy | Our Bubble || Calvinball Page featuring Cocoa Vanilla and Bramble Fox @scrappykathy | Uploaded March 2024 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
I've limited myself to a mix of Cocoa Vanilla "Daydream" and "These Days" and used weekly sketch 109 from the Scrap a Sketch Facebook group for this page to celebrate staying on the Bramble Fox Challenge Design Team for another term. And of course, I used lots of Bramble Fox Perspextives including the gorgeous fox that we team members received. I expect this won't be an extra-high-point page but there are quite a few points I was able to count off the top of my head. And of course, I love the page -- even if it's mostly pastel. Maybe it's because all the flowers make me happy!
Thanks for watching! Someone asked me if I was ready for Calvinball to end. I'm debating whether I'm going to miss it .... To be honest it was a bit of a struggle this year with all the health issues in March (that led to lower productivity AND much less time spent cleaning up and organizing after those point frenzy layouts so there's a LOT of mess!). However I do love any excuse to use hedgehogs and avocados and I tend to seek out and scrap more whimsical kiddo and pet layouts during Calvinball and those are always fun. In April I usually take a break -- historically it was a month of birthday celebrations -- Katie's is the 12th and John's is the 20th -- and there was usually some travel involved, especially if Spring Break fell at a time when we could get some travel in. This year I'm leaving right after Katie's celebration for a two-week trip to destinations in Louisiana and Texas, reuniting with family and friends along the way and scrapping with current and soon-to-be besties at the Beach Bash Retreat near Houston. So I may make a few pages but I'm not sure about videos. I'll try to get some done ahead to keep the channel hopping but I probably won't scrap the trip til I get home. There's another LOAD challenge the entire month of May so there's that -- although some of the surgeries I've been puttting off may get scheduled then and at least one of those will affect my ability to use my right arm. So we'll see.....
Thanks for asking and for always supporting me and I love you all!!
