Orographic Clouds form when moist air is pushed up a mountain where it expands and cools. Cool air can’t hold as much water vapor, so it condenses into a cloud right along the ridge and begins to descend the slope, trailing like a slow-motion waterfall as it evaporates. I shot this from the drone in video mode and stabilised the time-lapse in post. The mountain is located in Fnjóskadalur valley in North Iceland and the video was shot from above the road over Víkurskarð mountain pass.
