Friendly Review of the Netgear Orbi (amzn.to/2oSID88) firmware update version 2.0.1.4 which came out in mid-February 2018. The firmware update provides a fix for a memory leak. Also in this video, we talk about the recent stability issues that people have noticed in the past few months as the new daisy chain, wired backhaul, and Circle with Disney features were added. Netgear will stop auto-updating down the unstable branch and will start new Orbi's at v2.0.1.4. You can manually move your Orbi down to the stable version or keep on the other version to help Netgear resolve the issues. Please note that you may temporarily lose some of the new features if you move back.
