Orange's Board of Selectmen voted 5-1 Wednesday to pause any further expansion of its contract with the automated license plate reader company Flock as officials at the state level continue to explore and react to the technology.

The approved motion pauses the town's contract as First Selectman Jim Zeoli speaks with the town's attorney on the next best steps to protect the town.
