A study called the "Nun Study" involving over 600 nuns has found that those who were more optimistic and had greater linguistic complexity in their early 20s lived, on average, 10 years longer than their counterparts.

"This study provides further evidence that our thoughts and words can have a profound impact on our health and well-being," said Dr. David Snowdon, the lead author of the study. "If you want to live a long and healthy life, it's important to cultivate a positive outlook and to challenge yourself intellectually."

So what are you waiting for? Start being more optimistic and linguistically complex today!
