The mom opossum who was mauled by a dog is doing great - her injuries are healing and her seven babies are growing quickly. At two months old their eyes are open, and they will occasionally leave the pouch for a few moments while mom is snoozing before diving back in. Mom and her babies will be released back into the wild in another few weeks.
