Yes, I used to also buy CDs. I used to buy the cheapest option available to me. It often was the vinyl option, but there also were a lot of CD only releases in the 90/00ies...
My disaffection with CD came in three phases, which I discuss here.
When I moved from Paris, France, to the countryside of Stockholm, Sweden, I did not throw them all away, far from that. But ever since then, 13 years ago, I barely checked them, they've been sitting in boxes, unopen for the most part, gathering dust...
Today I open one of these many boxes, blind, and check out the glory, the shame, the puzzuling, and maybe we chat about it a little, after I went through it ^^
