Last week, I stopped at OpenAI’s Stargate project outside of Abilene. I’ve seen big construction projects before, but this one is on another level. OpenAI is spending billions to make ChatGPT the go-to AI platform, but it’s not clear if it will ever make a profit or be able to compete with Google and the other tech giants. That’s why I’m calling it Abilene or Bust.
