On day four of my Pennsylvania trip, I’m in West Chester heading to America’s Pie to take on the “pro” version of their "American Voyage" Sandwich Challenge! America’s Pie is known for its wide selection of pizzas, sandwiches, and other classic favorites. The restaurant has a patriotic American theme that fits its name, with several menu items named after historical figures. With a large menu and a great staff, it’s a spot where both locals and visitors can enjoy a relaxed dining experience just outside the Philadelphia area.

The standard “American Voyager” Challenge features four of their very large sandwiches: The Columbus – Chicken Parmesan, The Nina – Meatball Parmesan, The Pinta – Eggplant Parmesan, and The Isabella – Breaded Portabella Parmesan. Since I’m considered a “pro” eater, I had one extra sandwich of my choice added to the challenge. The time limit is a unique one, with only 1,492 seconds (24:52) to finish all the sandwiches. If I can get everything down within that time, I’ll earn the $50 meal free, a $50 gift card, and a T-shirt!
