We decided to book a guided canyoning tour on Tenerife and it was amazing! We walked, climbed, jumped, and rappelled our way down the canyon for several hours!!
There are many spots throughout the canyon where you can choose your level of adventure based on skill and fitness. We opted for the highest level of excitement and it was incredible!
The canyon is called "Los Carrizales" (the reedbeds) and our guide was Ben Buchy from canyontenerife.com - Highly recommended!

The canyon was narrow and steep which meant lots of shade and cold water. We had thick wetsuits (6mm?), waterproof harnesses, helmets, special booties, and of course, our GoPros were fully charged. Enjoy!
Fun fact: canyoning and canyoneering are interchangeable!
