In this video, I demonstrate my ESP32 Text to Speech (TTS) project, where I integrate Jade's Pico TTS component to bring multilingual support to the ESP32 platform. While Espressif's official TTS model currently supports only Chinese, Pico TTS fills the gap, enabling languages like UK and US English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. The project is built with LVGL for a smooth UI experience. Watch as I show how to convert text to speech, perfect for embedded systems with speaker output.

![E-Paper Map without Internet Connection!
This project transforms a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W into a fully offline GPS map viewer with a Waveshare E-Paper display. It uses a GPS module to track your real-time location and displays it on a locally stored map — with no need for internet access.
Map tiles are preloaded in .mbtiles format and rendered directly on the E-Paper screen using Python. The system updates the map only when movement exceeds a user-defined threshold, making it ideal for low-power, off-grid navigation.
Whether youre hiking, biking, or exploring the outdoors, this project gives you a minimal, power-efficient, and internet-free way to stay oriented.

![Arduino Stella Review: AirTag-Style UWB
In this video, I test and review the Arduino Stella, Arduino’s first official UWB (Ultra-Wideband) device — and it feels a lot like building your own AirTag!
I show how the iPhone detects Stella using BLE + UWB via Nearby Interaction, allowing real-time distance and direction tracking.
The Stella features the TrueSense DCU040 UWB module (based on NXP’s Trimension SR040) and a Nordic nRF52840 BLE microcontroller.
It offers ~10cm accuracy and ~15dBm transmit power, powered by a compact CR2032 coin cell.
Whether youre into smart access, asset tracking, or location-aware projects, this is a great starting point.

![This $10 Radar Tracks You Through a Wall — LD2450 + ESP32-S3
Is the HLK-LD2450 the ultimate 24GHz presence sensor for your next DIY smart home build? In this video, we put this affordable millimeter-wave radar to the ultimate test to see what it can really do!
Welcome back to ThatProject! Today, we are taking the LD2450 out of the lab and into the real world. We’ll cover the crucial antenna orientation mistake you need to avoid, test its fast-object tracking capabilities at a local indoor skatepark, and answer the ultimate question: Can a 24GHz signal penetrate solid wood doors and drywall?
While it works way better than expected for the price, it does have a few quirks you need to know about before hooking it up to your ESP32. Lets dive in!
