I think this video pretty much speaks for itself. If you care to express your own take on the last spoken line in the comments, that would be quite enjoyable for me to read. ;-D And now, since everyone will likely ask, here's the list of the gear I ended up getting:
Computer: Intel Core i7 2600, GeForce GT 440, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 2x 23" Acer Monitors, Sony Vegas Pro 10.
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T3i (600D)
Lens: EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Lighting: 2x JPL Umbrella-style Softboxes (special thanks to Cameron a.k.a. camdogie for turning me on to these) with 100w equivalent CFL bulbs.
Audio: Camera mic, manual gain, edited in Audacity.
Music: Avant Jazz by Kevin MacLeod (2007 Incompetech)

A Valentines Day gift for my loving wife.
Some of the notes are off, the guitar playing isnt the best, but the words and feeling are 100% authentic and heartfelt. This is a song for my wife and my Jesus. The video is random footage of our family and some friends as well.
I miss you, Christin. Ill see you very soon.
P.S. Sorry about the first shot, it didnt come out quite how I wanted it to and it kind of makes me dizzy... but I didnt really want to spend another couple hours re-rendering, so it is what it is. ;-D
And for those who may be wondering, Christin is not endorsing marijuana in the second shot! Go me for picking a video clip that requires audio to understand, but thats what happens when you cut a video together in 10 minutes without previewing it!
