I've done Aub and Hero against the Boss Rush, but now here's Omori and Hero up to the same challenge.
In terms of difficulty, there's some tradeoffs. Aub has tighter synergy thanks to Look at Hero and Team Spirit, while Omori has Vertigo and Red Hands for debuffs and lots of potential damage. Overall, Omori/Hero was harder.
The only emotion advantage I can really establish is sad vs happy, which is a bit of a detriment because the juice economy is pretty slow. Also, not being happy misses out on the luxury of Aub always critting, which really helped in predicting how much damage I'd do. Suffocate is still good that way, but it's not nearly as useful in situations like the Jawsum fight, where specific damage matters a lot.
Most bosses weren't too bad though. After being hit by Vertigo, a lot of them are barely threats anymore, which only left Sir Maximus and the last two bosses as issues. All three are stressful, but as long as Maximus and Slime Girls don't spam annoying moves, they're manageable. And Humphrey's kinda just a race after phase 3 starts.
Overall, much like the boss rush in general, it's mostly tedious, but doable.
Equipment:
Omori: Red Knife, Gladiolus Hairband (Mari's Cookie, Mush)
Hero: Ol' Reliable, Flower Crown
0:00- Ye Old Sprout
1:34- Download Window
3:15- Space Ex-Boyfriend
4:54- King Crawler
7:04- Sir Maximuses
13:03- Sweetheart
16:15- Mr. Jawsum
21:18- Pluto (Expanded)
24:07- Slime Girls
28:46 Humphrey
