I challenged myself in yet another different way, this time by limiting party member count. Aubrey and Hero seemed like the most promising pair, so they’re the first of a few pairs of choice.
I add Omori in before each fight and remove him right away, since I have to start the fight with him. He doesn’t affect gameplay.
The strategy is straightforward: make the party ecstatic, make the enemy angry, then Beatdown and heal. Share Food actually gets some use here, because it’s the most efficient way to heal two party members. Also, an ecstatic Aubrey here can always crit, and the consistency is quite important in most fights.
Overall, most fights weren’t notable. Even the later bosses that I figured would take a few tries were pretty straightforward.
Sir Maximus was the main roadblock. Their spin quickly move scales with fewer party members, and their tendency to switch to sad can be annoying. Dazzle conveniently solves both problems though, and solely justifies using the skill over something like Mesmerize.
