The Old Town Rig Down brings some of the country’s finest custom semis, working trucks, and show rigs to the historic brick streets of downtown Nacogdoches, Texas. Hosted by the Massey Rose Foundation, this family-friendly event combines trucking culture with the unique setting of the oldest town in Texas, featuring rows of polished trucks, food and vendors, downtown shopping, live entertainment, and an impressive nighttime truck light show. One of the things that makes the Rig Down special is its focus on the local community, with 100% of the event’s net proceeds donated back to organizations in the Nacogdoches area.
The 2026 Old Town Rig Down will take place September 11–12, 2026, in downtown Nacogdoches. Trucks will begin moving into downtown Friday morning, September 11, with activities continuing through Saturday evening, September 12. The 2026 event will also feature country music legend Tracy Lawrence in a free concert, adding another major attraction to a weekend filled with trucks, lights, music, and the strong community atmosphere that has become a signature of the Old Town Rig Down.
