Exterior & Design: The truck features a retro nostalgic aesthetic with custom touches including a Dane Nelson bug shield, a custom 12-gauge grill insert, and specialized 12-gauge bumpers (1:07 - 2:23).
Engine Work: The truck is powered by a 5EK CAT electronic motor that underwent extensive modifications, including relocation of the ECM and fuel systems, casting removal, and custom piping from a 2026 Peterbilt 589 (6:44 - 8:54).
Lighting & Electrical: The build includes 96 individual watermelon lights under the truck wired in three phases for customizable red, white, and blue strobe effects, alongside legendary extreme lighting (9:02 - 10:05).
Interior & Customization: The cab was completely transformed with a "flat floor" 359 modification, custom handmade dash, and a high-end sound system featuring 30 speakers and 4,000 watts of power (12:45 - 15:10).
Sleeper Construction: The original Double Eagle sleeper was stripped down to its corners and rebuilt with suicided doors, one-piece side panels, and panel-bonded assembly to eliminate exterior hucks (15:30 - 16:10).
Special Details: The team named the project "Outta the Ordinary" because they departed from their traditional red company truck aesthetic, opting for a unique blue, gray, red, and silver color scheme (28:28 - 28:45).
