Before the trucks roll in, we’re taking a tour around downtown Perryville, Missouri with James Stegall to see what this town has to offer during Laid Back on I-55 truck show weekend.
Along the way, we find some pretty interesting places — including a shoe store with 7 generations of family history, locally roasted coffee, custom truck lettering and graphics, a full-service spa inside Perry County’s first hotel, great food, Airbnbs overlooking downtown and the American Tractor Museum with more than 100 tractors.
James also gives us a look at where the trucks will be parked, the VIP area, the trucker rodeo location, combo parking and where drivers need to go for registration.
Once the trucks, lights, vendors and music fill the streets around the courthouse, downtown Perryville becomes a pretty incredible setting for the Laid Back on I-55 truck show.
