Description
This video is my flatpicked, melody-in-the-bass arrangement of the popular Christian hymn “The Old Rugged Cross”. The song was written in 1912 by midwestern evangelist and song-leader George Bennard, and has been a country gospel favorite ever since it became the title song of Ernest Tubb's 1952 gospel album.
