Description
This video is my flatpicked, melody-in-the-bass arrangement of the Hank Williams standard “(Your) Cold, Cold Heart”. Hank wrote the song in 1950. The next year it twice topped the charts: it was a #1 Country hit for him, and also a #1 Pop hit for Tony Bennett. It should be noted that the melody borrows heavily from an earlier country song, “You'll Still Be in My Heart”, written by Ted West in 1943.
