This is the heart-stopping moment an 'old lady' drove the WRONG WAY down the M6 - straight into oncoming traffic.

Dashcam footage shows a red Ford Fiesta driving down a service station slip road in the wrong direction, straight into oncoming traffic on the M6 on Tuesday afternoon [November 18th].

The woman left Welcome Break Corley, Warwickshire, at junction 3 and started travelling northbound on the southbound carriageway to the horror of other drivers.
