This mum is 'petrified' of winter - as she's so allergic to the cold that she breaks out in 'painful' hives even walking down the supermarket FREEZER AISLE.

Kirsten Evans suffers such a severe reaction to cold exposure that just a couple of minutes of being outside leaves her 'feeling like the Elephant Man' with painful, itchy hives covering her face and body.

The 41-year-old says she is so sensitive to changes in temperature that even walking through the cold aisle at the supermarket means she'll 'flare up like a balloon' and it takes around half an hour to disappear once she's indoors.
