The main innovation here is using power slash to stop the spiky bridge at 0:15. This allows us to pass under it without waiting for it to rotate, which we had to do previously. Unfortunately, this would then lock us into another cycle with the bridge when returning with the electric key. This can be resolved by PS'ing the bridge a second time after passing under it, which I do at 0:23.
Overall, this strategy seems to save around 4s compared to the previous one, if done perfectly. Of course, since we are no longer locked into that cycle, there is now more space where execution matters and mistakes can be made. IMO, this is a good thing, since it raises the skill ceiling a little bit for this segment and looks cooler.
Technically, this strat was discovered a few weeks ago, but I hadn't bothered to actually lab out a good execution and record it. That's why this is only coming out today. Credit to Rychu (twitch.tv/ry_chu) for initially showing me that you can PS the spiky bridge to stop it. I for some reason never thought to try this, even though I knew you could PS the rotating discs at the end of the sidescroller to stop them.

![Okami All Brushes in 3:51:28 - New Game All Brushes Speedrun [Former World Record]
For those unfamiliar, the All Brushes category requires us to collect all brush techniques AND upgrades (e.g. Fireburst, Mist Warp, Cherry Bomb 2/3, etc.). This makes for a longer run, but one with many interesting routing possibilities due to the many objectives that can be completed at any time.
This run didnt have any big categorical mistakes like the previous one, so I saved a lot of time, but it did feature a lot of just sloppy play. This can definitely be improved by a lot, but its not bad for my 2nd real run. Sub 4h is done, and sub 3:50 is easily possible. Sub 3:40 is probably possible as well, but Im unsure if sub 3:30 can be achieved by a human. It will certainly not be easy.
This run beat the previous WR of 4:02:17 (https://youtu.be/z1XmzHs6kyA).
