OCI Full Stack DR orchestrates the transition of compute, database, and applications between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) regions from around the globe with a single click. Customers can automate the steps needed to recover one or more business systems without redesigning or re-architecting existing infrastructure, databases, or applications and without needing specialized management or conversion servers.
In this session, we will cover the following topics with live demos:
Topic 1: OKE Member Support + Resource Modifier in Full Stack DR
Kubernetes workloads on OCI now have a dedicated place in your DR plan. We'll walk through how OKE members work in a DR Protection Group and how the Resource Modifier capability gives you precise control over what gets restored and how.
Resource Modifiers let you add, delete, and modify fields in the Kubernetes resource YAMLs during restore ¿ so you can match the destination environment without touching your built-in plan groups. Shapes, configurations, namespaces, and more ¿ all handled through a configmap you apply at restore time.
Topic 2: Five Questions to Ask Before Your Next DR Audit
Can you prove your DR plan was actually tested? Can you show the RTO was met? Can you demonstrate who triggered the DR plans and when? Full Stack DR's built-in audit trail answers all of these ¿ automatically. Most teams don't know where to look. We'll show you exactly where.
Join us for an engaging session with the OCI Full Stack DR Product Team to see these capabilities in action!
