Interactive Grid is one of the most useful features in Oracle APEX, but once you move beyond the basics, it can get a little confusing. In this video, I walk through 10 tips that start simple and gradually get more advanced, using real code the whole way through.
I cover what’s going on under the hood, when it’s better to use the built-in API instead of workarounds, and how to customize things like the toolbar. There’s also a section on handling selection and validation, plus a few examples of making the grid more responsive by working directly with the model.
