Oblivion Remastered Ultra Plus is a mod that makes a huge difference to the quality of the graphics while maintaining or even improving performance. By enabling Lumen ambient occlusion (replacing SSAO) software Lumen achieves more of the visual fidelity offered by hardware Lumen. Performance is not effected by this change, at least not that I could measure.
Without this mod, Lumen's ambient occlusion is disabled leaving only the global illumination component (even though they are directly related). SSAO fails to adequately shade the trees and forests in this game in the vanilla remaster.

GTAO is also an option with this mod, but it mostly works as a less aggressive SSAO I found (in this case.)
Huge props to the developer for updating this mod so quickly and frequently since launch! It runs great on my GTX 1080 Ti! At least, better than the base game...
