Probably will do this in all worlds, since reflect does similar damage to Scar as well.
This could possibly save an ether on Critical as well.

Left = New.
Right = Old.
Left saves around 1.5 seconds by using 2 shortened combos into an air combo at the start, which still gets me enough damage to finish him after the RC.

Around the same speed, but is a little more consistent for me.
3 jumps
Over the Horizon(Square on ground, not needed with 9 jumps but is a little faster)
9 jumps(8 jumps also works but is a little scarier)
Revert from valor before the last jump
Start Duck Flare and then Mega Duck Flare immediately.
