This is a route idea that requires you to do 4 air combos on Darksides 1 head, and then kill 1 Soldier before the chocolate door. By my estimate, this shouldnt waste more than 5 seconds to do, and will make guard armor potentially faster/more consistent.

After further testing, this appears to make both patterns guard armor can give you roughly the same speed, a speed that appears to be very slightly faster than the good pattern at level 6. I could be wrong about this, as I am not an expert at this fight.

Left = New.
Right = Old.
Left saves around 1.5 seconds by using 2 shortened combos into an air combo at the start, which still gets me enough damage to finish him after the RC.

Around the same speed, but is a little more consistent for me.
3 jumps
Over the Horizon(Square on ground, not needed with 9 jumps but is a little faster)
9 jumps(8 jumps also works but is a little scarier)
Revert from valor before the last jump
Start Duck Flare and then Mega Duck Flare immediately.
Combo till hes dead.")

Uses 1 Ether.
Uses Magnetless version of my Master Genie Setup.
The first 2 horizontal slashes are for added damage and to buy time for my mp to recharge.
Getting knocked back in mid air by the claymore puts me in perfect position to use arcana.
This is very fast and consistent, please learn it if you can.
