Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and People with Disabilities Sindisiwe Chikunga has launched a forensic investigation into the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA)'s financial conduct. The probe comes after the NYDA appeared before Parliament's Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) to answer questions about governance failures, whistleblower complaints and alleged financial mismanagement. The agency has been under growing scrutiny following whistleblower allegations, legal action involving the Sunday Times, and concerns over its handling of public funds.
