Alleged crime figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala’s trial wrapped in the Johannesburg High Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Proceedings were stood down until Thursday morning, when state witness Bethwell Cele is expected to return to the stand for further cross-examination by the defence.

Matlala and his co-accused face multiple charges linked to alleged attempted murders and other serious crimes.
