ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula has defended Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to appoint Dina Pule, saying she has already served her punishment for misconduct committed more than a decade ago.
Mbalula argued that Pule has accepted responsibility for her past actions, has reformed, and deserves an opportunity to serve again. He also said the public criticism surrounding her return to public office has been overly harsh.
