Shortly before Christmas last year, I visited the Vintage Subway trains that run every weekend in December. These are actual subway cars from the 1930s onward that are usually on display at the New York City Transit Museum.
The best part is that loads of people dress up in period-appropriate clothing to take photos and ride on the trains. I thought it would be great to capture this special event with Super 8 film rather than a modern digital camera.
