New York City is sending out offers to families whose children will be the first to participate in the city's 2-K program in the fall. Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who made the announcement along with Gov. Kathy Hochul and Schools Chancellor Kamar Samuels, said the city received 5,700 applications.
