New York City’s budget is due this week, but negotiations are at a standstill over the city’s rental assistance program, also known as CityFHEPS. According to a City Council source, the Mamdani administration has offered $125 million for the program, but Council Speaker Julie Menin is calling the offer “unacceptable.” NY1 has the latest on “Inside City Hall.”
