A pair of Supreme Court rulings this week have cleared the way for the Trump administration to carry out its immigration agenda. In one decision, Mullin v. Doe, the high court allowed the administration to move forward with ending temporary protected status for hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian nationals living in the U.S. In a separate ruling, the justices upheld the government's authority to turn away some asylum seekers by physically blocking them from getting through ports of entry. Spectrum New political anchor Errol Louis is joined by Amy Howe, the co-founder and lead reporter at the online Supreme Court news publication SCOTUSblog, to talk about the significance of these decisions.
