Money was needed to repair the main station building at Arelsbrugh on the Arlesdale Miniature Railway. Enough wasn't made during the summer to cover it until Rex had an idea that they could hold a time trial race. People could place their money on who could go the fastest and would win a special prize! The small controller thought it was an excellent idea and made the arrangements. However the idea of a race got Mike and Jock up in their smokeboxes.
