Thomas had befriend many of his passengers on his branch line for many years. One of these friends was a girl called Becky who lives at a nearby farm in Hackenbeck and trains a pony called Barnaby. There was going to be a show at Fox's field in Maithwaite and Becky and Barnaby were to take part in it. But the horsebox had engine trouble and on the day of the show it had broken down! What could they do?
