Snow was everywhere on the Island of Sodor and with that the lines were blocked and it was hard work for the engines, especially Gordon. However Sir Charles Topham Hatt had introduced them to a rotary snowplough, a snow machine. Gordon was keen to use it as he thought it would make the job easier. But with that it'd caused problems to the other engines.
