In our final edition for 2025, we see 5917 in action with shuttle trains at Richmond along with its usual runs to Kiama with the Picnic Train, including a rare site of an early morning transfer run to Wollongong. See 3526 along with Red Rattler F1 at Sydney Central station celebrating the 170th anniversary of NSW Railways along with the 35 on trips to Wollongong and Hurstville, one of which was to promote the Harry Potter cast audio book series on Audible.
We've also seen 3001 back on its usual shuttle run from Thirlmere to Buxton at the NSW Rail Museum, as well as a special preview of this year's Transport Heritage Expo and to end the year and the rail heritage season, we see some diesel action such as 4306 and 4001 in Sydney heading to the Hunter and Central Coast and 4903 and 4836 on a special Christmas Kiama Picnic Train.
