With its lower cost of living, small communities and breathtaking beauty, bachelor-prepared nurses are in demand in Southern Oregon. Graduates from the OHSU School of Nursing in Ashland are sought after, according to Associate Dean Heather Voss.
“I would say that everybody, whether they plan to stay here or not, is offered a position before they graduate.”
OHSU’s Ashland campus offers two paths to become a nurse: a 3-year B.S. in nursing program and a 15-month accelerated B.S. program for students with a previous bachelor's degree.
