It is a beautiful morning, but a busy one! Today is a major mix of emotions as we prepare for some big travel and handle some important health checks for our senior girl. First up, we are taking Memphis to the vet. She is twelve and a half years old now, and we noticed her rear ankle was swollen again. While we were there, we did some blood work and laser therapy to help with her joints. Unfortunately, the results regarding her liver levels weren't exactly what we hoped for, showing some significant spikes in her ALKP and ALT numbers. We are adjusting her supplements and keeping a close eye on our beautiful girl.
Amidst the vet stress, life goes on! I am frantically packing to head to Las Vegas for CES (the Consumer Electronics Show). Flying out of our tiny airport in Alpena is always a bit of a gamble, especially with the winter weather, so hopefully, I make it out before the snow hits! We also realized we forgot to take New Year's photos, so Jamie 3D printed some cool 2024 glasses for the girls, and we had a hilarious mini-photoshoot in the yard.
To wrap up the day, the house smells amazing because we’ve been slow-cooking meat for Birria Tacos! Memphis even got to taste test some cilantro (she loves it!). We ended the night watching the NHL Winter Classic while Eleanor destroyed some toys and Kira got extremely jealous of the attention. Life is always an adventure with these three Siberian Huskies!

🌮 Cooking homemade Birria Tacos and salsa (and giving the dogs a cilantro taste test!).
🧸 Eleanor going crazy destroying toys while Kira gets jealous of the playtime.
🏒 Ending the night watching the NHL Winter Classic outdoor hockey game.
