I began this TAS in late June, I think. I intended to finish it long before now, but as it turned out I didn't even get half-way done with it after four months. The motivation for this project died first with my loss of interest in speedrunning and second with the discovery of a faster Bottom of the Well chus. With my Bottom of the Well segment now obsoleted, I don't have the motivation to finish this.
The reason I decided to do the VC route was because the majority of No IM/WW runners use the VC route still, and now, it looks as though VC might be faster again what with the new Bottom of the Well chus strat. At the time, it technically would've been faster to do Blank A chus, but I saw that as an unfair advantage, for that would make this TAS much faster than theoretically possible on N64.
To make things clear, this was designed to create theoretically perfect HUMAN performance, NOT perfect performance, hence LOTAS, or Low-Optimized TAS. I opt out of sidehopping everywhere and doing crazy precise movements and instead preserve some of the humanly limitations such as setups, backwalks, and rolls. Of course, I did not simply replicate the world record run minus the mistakes, but I also stretched some boundaries current speedrunners are unwilling to stretch such as using more bombchus before Spirit hover, going for risky time-savers, and relying on an RNG bomb drop in Lost Woods. While some may call a lot of what I did in this abandoned project "TAS only", we might not be too far off from upping the standard for OoT speedruns. Just remember how low the standards were two years ago, and then look at them now. It is very well possible that OoT speedruns could come to the point demonstrated in this video.
Anyway, this is what I have done over the past four months. I reached the mirror shield at 44:22, much faster than any time regardless of platform. Although I will not continue this specific project, if I ever regain interest in speedrunning/TASing again, I might consider doing a legitimate TAS of this category. I hope this sparks some new ideas. Enjoy.

I guess Im due to show a segment from this TAS since it is now half-way done. This among several other hesses is possible due to farming 5 bombs in lost woods Hess Minuet Skip - No IM/WW [LOTAS] WIP](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/WwY_PBMuHWk/mqdefault.jpg)
