KOJRO Retro innovations | No end to things you never wanted to know about the Commodore C-64 Power. Part 3 in the series @kojroRI | Uploaded May 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Yes, that KOJRO fellow, now he is at it again with another “All you never wanted to know” video. This is part 3 in a series, where we now are fearing that there will be a fourth episode. We try to cover everything anyone will ever want to know about the C64 and all its power issues. And there are a few. In this episode we actually try to fix something, and we upgrade the innards of the brick. We use all of our knowledge from the other videos, and the fresh switch mode knowledge of this episode to make a wonder power that outshines even the C128 PSU. Mostly we focus on the wedge shaped footwarmer PSU as this is the most reform friendly of the bunch. What are the differences between the various PSU’s is a question I really can’t answer as I don’t have all the various versions. But we try this from a European perspective. I have covered a lot of this before as part of other videos, and I can link to some of them here. But the message is, wherever you are in the world, you should never ever toss one of these power bricks away.. They are absolutely up to the task for the price of two not so good cups of coffee. #C64 #commodity dore #Powerbrick
