KOJRO Retro innovations | It’s only logical. Episode 10 “The Flip Flops are Flopping”. A Christmas Calendar from KOJRO RI. @kojroRI | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 55 minutes ago.
This is my second take on a 24 episode Christmas calendar. Last time the task was presenting a new vintage computer from the MS-Dos area each time. This time I am going to cover some even older bits of computer history, and these bits play a part even today. We are going to look into the bread-and-butter logic chips, and the theory behind them. Mainly the 74xxx series of TTL gates.
The tenth episode will also be about making a working flip-flop on the breadboard. We introduce the clock concept, and just wing it from there.
