⋆ NKИ ⋆ is the almost self-titled follow-up to last year’s debut two-track introduction to Énkaij’s pastel-hued vaporwave chiptune-corrupted punky-blackgaze addition to Aës Løcüs Haunted Circle.

By turns, it is an even more aggressive and celestial extension of the likes of Trhä, Coffret de Bijoux, and Olatom Amespïrïa, with flights of glittering synths ravaged by rabid vocals and overdriven drums.

Not one for the black metal purists, but anyone with an ear for the outer-edges is likely to appreciate a lot in this.
